So, I have these wireless headphones that I got from Brookstone. The device driver is called E-Core wireless audio. Its installed and ready, but it's not listed as a default playback device in volume control. How to fix?
It worked ok before. There's no driver to install on my wireless headphones.

As "another device" does not show up too this suggests some problem other than just an "audio" problem. Post back with more info about the problems and also what the status of the affected devices are in the Device Manager.

Five USB connected optical drives for CD Audio production using Nero BurningROM
Connect the Devices, one at a time, and then go to the Device Manager. RIGHT click on the entry for the device and then LEFT click "uninstall". DO NOT check the box to uninstall the drivers. After both have been uninstalled, physically disconnect them from the PC then restart the PC. After Windows finishes initializing, connect one device at a time and Windows should detect and install the device. Many times this fixes problems such as yours and if you are lucky it will fix yours.

Honestly, as long as the usb wired headset works, I can use the headphone mode on the wireless headset. I just connect the headphone jack into the devices reciever, then I connect the opposite end to another jack where the sound will be transmitted, and it'll work that way.
