ONE of the worst problems ever....:( help guys
i installed windows 7 32 bit and i have a ati hd radeon 3870 right, but there is no sound ive inserted my drivers cd, ive gone onto asrocks drivers site ive went on guru 3d ive tried everywhere, when i go on sounds it says VIA is working but it fails tests and the ati hdmi output is not plugged in...i have no sound?
ive tried the realtek website etc

In device manager, if it shows under sound section that "ATI High Definition Audio Device" is not working well after a successful video card driver installation, you should update your motherboard bios. Also, disable any unused ports such as serial and/or parallel in the bios after update. (Or now if no update.)
Also install audio driver for you board.

Right click the speaker icon near the time in system tray. Choose playback devices. You can right click in there and set to show hidden devices.
Right click on the one you want and choose to set it as default device.

You did a bios update already? No, if you follow my instructions carefully, your system will be well as is.
