One PC Cannot connect to server

Dear,

Server: windows 7; C shared with Everyone full access
Laptop: Windows 7;
PC: windows XP

Laptop and WinXP PC can ping Server;
Laptop can connect to Server through View workgroup Computers, mapping, etc.
WinXP PC: I can't map to Server; I see it in View workgroup Computers but can't have access to it (when i double click on it)

Pls advise.

Hello there,

See if the following troubleshooting tips from Microsoft helps.

1 - You cannot view other workgroup computers on the network on a Windows XP-based computer

2 - You cannot access shared files and folders or browse computers in the workgroup with Windows XP

Dear,

things went OK with no modifications;
I booted my XP PC, clicked on network, found my server, double clicked on the server and here I am connected!!! Weird.
