I have recently purchased 1 Windows 7 32-bit Home Premium installation disc from CompUSA. When I purchased the disc I was under the impression that you could use 1 disc to install Windows 7 on more than 1 computer. I have been researching lately and think I have made a mistake. Can you or can you not install Windows 7 Home Premium on 4 computers with the same installation CD?

So i need to purchase more installation discs? I was able to install Windows XP Pro on up to five computers. Does it matter if I stated that I purchased the Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OEM System Builder Pack?

You can use your single disk to make multiple installations... however you'll need fresh keys to activate all but the first one...

Hello CoolioG, and welcome to Windows Seven Forums!
There was a limited time offer of Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack that included three computers. Does your CompUSA box say "Family Pack"?
Cheers!

How do you obtain the keys? Did I make a mistake by purchasing the OEM version even if im a casual desktop user not a system builder? What is the installation difference between the OEM version and the regular Home Premium?

You only made a mistake buying Builder's OEM if you ever want to migrate the Win7 license. It is locked to the hardware on that one machine. Any other version besides OEM can migrate as desired.
Upgrade licenses are all you need, as long as you have on hand a copy of XP/Vista to qualify under the EULA. But you don't even have to have it installed to install Win7.
