Solved OneDrive won't email Shares

Set up OneDrive using Yahoo email addy and pw which it accepts. Installed OD app to share folders.

It allows emailing shared folders and appears to send them but actually doesn't.

Any ideas? Try a new Live ID?

I do not fully get it, how are you sending the OneDrive folders? Like this:

This method works perfectly for me but I am using "genuine" MS account, not Yahoo.

Can you access OneDrive at https://onedrive.live.com/ with your Yahoo email MS Account? If so, can you send from there:

Yes he wants to email pictures of folders so I suggested this as the best way.

The issue is resolved now after he created a new Outlook webmail account to use for OneDrive instead of his Yahoo User ID which OneDrive originally accepted with no complaints but they mysteriously would not email any links. The links worked but would not be sent at all using the Share email choice you show there.
