Open containing folder does not work.

When I right click on download in firefox and hit "Open containing folder" nothing happens.

Also utorrent the same thing happens.

Perhaps a registry issue ?

I used registry mechanic and it didn't fix it.

Any solutions ? Thanks

Start Firefox in safe mode. maybe its a problematic addon.

Click Start, Run and enter "RegEdit". Look for the following:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

Locate the Default value and double click on Default. Set this value to
"none" (without the quotes)

I tried this before but that value was already there.

I don`t think so because it also occurs in lime wire and utorrent.

They are long since gone. the thread is from march, and I suspect they have fixed it and moved on. Just an FYI, it is usally better to start your own thread.
