Welcome
LoL a problem as old as windows Try this
When it happens the next time, strech the window out to full size.
The next time you start the browser they should all open that size, not technically full size but it should look like it.
Does not work or not satisfied.
Try to open the window to max size, when you close do not close in the normal fashion. Go to file and hit exit. Try this a dozen times or so, Windows should eventually remember.
You can then try these suggestions.

Very true, sometimes IE opens to a postage stamp size:mad:

Another thing to try, which may work or not, Start button/All Programs/Internet Explorer, right click and select Properties. Down in the Run section, select Maximized, apply, OK and try again.
IE has always been pesky about opening to whatever size it wants.

One more "trick". When it opens to the wrong size, hold the Shift key while clicking the Maximize button, sometimes that works too.

It may be a bit inconvenient, but try opening IE from the taskbar icon, then going to the favorites and open your site from there.
You can right click an empty spot on the taskbar/Tool Bars/select Links. Then you can click on the double arrow to open links you have in the IE Favorites Bar (top of IE window) and go to those with a single click.
Other than these ideas I have nothing else.
