I often have a need to open many files simultaneously from explorer (e.g. file1.txt, file2.txt, file3.txt, etc.). In Windows XP, I can select, say 30 files, and open them all by selecting them in an explorer window and either hitting "enter" or selecting "open" from the right mouse context dialog box. In Windows 7, on my system, I can do the same thing as long as the number of selected files is 15 or less. If I select 16 or more files, hitting "enter" has no effect and "open" is no longer available on the right mouse context menu.

Is there a way of setting this 15 file limit to a larger number?

Thanks for that link. :)

Do you know if that setting affects the "Details" Pane as well?
I often have to adjust the properties on multiple image files and if I select more than 15, I have to click on "Show more details".
It's a minor annoyance.

I just tried it out myself and changed the registry entry to 100.

Apparently it does nothing to that "Details" issue which i find mildly annoying myself...

Thanks for checking that out solarmystic. :)

It's a shame it doesn't get rid of that annoyance.
