Opera 11 . I love it but Noads not working.

Can someone please help me with this. I am loving the speed of Opera 11 but the issue with Noads (known issue) is driving me mad. Is there any other extension or way to resolve the issue. In Firefox adblock plus does what it says -- it just works. Not the case with opera 11 and it's the ads which are just annoying me. Anyone know of a fix? thanks all for your help.

^^yes, already seen and that does not work either; users there saying so too. Anyone else know of a way to stop ads in Opera 11 akin to Firefox. Loving Opera -- this is the only aspect bugging me . Thanks .

for some users, it works, i'm also using opera and it worked for me too, for a couple of days, after it crashed and i uninstall it...

for ad blocking in opera, i'm using the built in ad blocker, it works great for me and you can set it on / off for every page.

first, you must edit the "urlfilter.ini" file, so it can block google ads and all the known web page content ads, after that you can manually block ads on every page

I just really wish there was a working equivalent to FF's Adblock Plus; that works a treat in FF .

Tamil - Opera ad block filters

i assure you it works, just follow the steps from this blog...

then go to Menu > Settings > Preferences > Advanced > Content - and disable JavaScript, then press "Style Options" and disable Inline Frames

you can manually allow java and frames for the pages you need by clicking right on the page > Edit site Preferences, you will see some tabs with the options for that particular page

also, you can block the ads on that page by pressing Right Click > Block Content, if u want to block a particular element hold down Shift and click on it, if you click directly it will block all the element from that category in the page...

there is nothing else... manually blocking the ads it's the only solution for opera users right now (that is working with no bugs), but i think that this will change very soon, especially now, when opera v11 is introducing the extensions option

opera is not like firefox, if one wants to use it and enjoy it's speed and security, one must take a little time and set it accurately, after that... it has no rival in today's browsing scene

Oh, I do love it and its speed/ i think I will leave and wait until someone has found a workable extension. Guess I'll have to put up with the ads. thanks anyway .

now that's a great info, good tip!

don't think i will use it, but it's very usefull for those who don't know / want to use the browser's internal settings...

i've read that for some users, this didn't work either, so please come back in a while and tell us how it will work for you...
