optiarc bc5500s ..blu ray not recognized

hey..i have a sony vaio fw21 e ..with optiarc bc 5500 S... recently i have installed windows 7 64 bit build 7600... .. now windows can t play blu ray disc..cd and dvd are working perfect..only blue ray it doesnt work .. ..i put a blu ray disc inside.. makes a weird sound( that sound like the disc is broken ) , and it says in my computer no disc ... please help.. thx

Im having the exact same problem, Sony said it's because a version of Windvd that is compatible with my system has not been released yet though. Any other help is welcome

let`s hope is only a windvd problem.... but i`m afraid is not ..

I was thinking It's not also, but it worked fine in Vista, this did not happen until I upgraded to Windows 7, maybe once the driver is released it will work.
