Was some bug where players would get invisible doors and couldn't get pass it so they got stuck and the monster wouldn't trigger so it never came out after you first get the plasma cutter. Also something about the controls being wonky on pc.

Good offer but too bad I still don't have the part 2 in the library :( have 1 and 3 already.. got in HumbleBundle

While each game ties into the previous game, they're separate enough to be played by themselves. Also, much like FEAR, each release got a lot less scarier and a lot more weaker than the previous.

The two scariest games I've ever played were the first FEAR, and first DeadSpace games. There's nothing like being trapped in a corridor or room and suddenly have the lights go out and then get hit with the drama music while all hell breaks loose. Yeah you know it's coming, but it still gets you. And a good sound system only adds to the anxiety; I'm not talking headphones, I'm talking speakers cranked :D

And in DeadSpace, those ambient sounds can suddenly turn into a full blown attack at anytime. This is what helped give the game its fear factor. Great great game.

Also, both games weren't horrendously consolized and ported like their subsequent releases so the game play is much better, and in DS1, you'd better learn to manage your resources or else. DS2 & 3, not so much... I had so much stuff in DS3 I didn't know what to do with it, and barely had to buy anything.... especially if you looked around.

At any rate I am a huge fan of DS1 so.... :)

sounds cools :D I must restart DS1 and try to finish it :D I started twice but some other game caught my attention :sleepy:

Was this DS1? Cause I saw this is DS3 as well.

Yes, this was in DS1 and is still there, as said M1GU31 "Fix was to force v-sync and tripple buffering into the game".

But i didn't need third party as Fraps also that had been used by some for those game bugs. I have only use Ati CCC.

Though, not many infos if you do a search online, some youtube videos aswell around.

So finally, i did completed two rounds and the same bugs appeared at same places.

First, the one mentionned above and at second round also, i had to use "Fraps" in chapter 1 2nd round which i did not in first round, just CCC with forced vSync on.

From:
Bugs in Dead Space/Proposed

PC version, chapter 5 - I've entered Cryogenics lab and heard Mercer speech, but Mercer himself wasn't behind the glass where he was supposed to - he was missing completely. Because of that, Hunter did not appear when the speech ended and I was left inside completely locked lab without any means to proceed forward. It seems that Mercer didn't actually disappear completely, but fallen through floor where he was supposed to be for some reason, because when I reloaded several times I managed to catch a glimpse of him as I opened lab door, quickly falling down through the floor. It seems that endless delay in script is therefore cause by his attempt to walk away at the end of speech never succeeding. After several dozens of reloads he finally stood on his correct place. --rowaasr13 08:26, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
PC version, chapter 5 - Cryogenics lab bug as poster above. Dr Mercer is falling through the floor and script never finishes, so Hunter does not appear. Solution - i was able to get Mercer to appear by running heavy CPU usage task ( WinRar in benchmark mode set to above normal priority with task manager ) and switching back to game and loading and opening door.
This has happened to me as well the first time I had reached that point, on the PS3 version of the game. I had actually managed to get out of the lab when I realized that nothing was happening, and I fell into nothing. however it was ok after I restarted from the checkpoint. Twice rounds it happens at Chapter 5 in Cryo chamber...i launched MSE full scan with 90% of processor threads, restarted the game to succeed make appearing the Dr. Mercer behind the glass room.

For those like me that have played DS2 & DS3 before the original DS!

No need for cleared games saved to have all the unlocked bonuses, at end of game if you decide to "continue", save the first game and save at one moment for 2nd round.
