Original CD key on trial version

Hey every one i want to ask when i got my laptop windows 7 home premium was installed and was genuine, and now i want to install a fresh copy of windows 7 so is it possible i install windows 7 home premium 30 day trial version and when asked for cd key i enter cd key written under my laptop?? will this work means will my windows get activated???
At the back on CD key label windows 7 Home Premium OA is written what does this mean?? please help me i want to re-register my copy of windows.
