Original Warcraft 3 Chapter 6 won't load

I was playing the original Warcraft 3 until I get to the point I reached Chapter 6 of the story. Whenever I try to play Chapter 6 of the game, it's just a black screen that I see. It doesn't hang though 'cause I can still get back to the desktop and have the task manager close the program for me. What could be the problem with this game on Windows 7? :huh:

Try to find and download+install all the available patches for the game.
I assume that you have the latest GPU and other drivers installed, DirectX updated etc. etc.

I do have the latest drivers for my computer's hardware. I think I wasn't playing the game with the latest patch for it. That could be the reason why.

you're welcome...knowing that Blizzard rakes the dough with WoW so much that even DIII is delayed I don't know if there is any other Warcraft III patch coming out any time soon, sorry.
