OS or Hardware issue?

I dont think its a heat issue. My case has 4 fans and I clean inside with canned air regularly.

also, my ram is in slot 1-2 ... should i try it in 3-4 ?

Try slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4

and
3-4 are blue

You suggest i have 1 stick in each color?

OK.. update.

I have contacted OCZ about my ram and they gave me the correct memory timings and settings. The problem still occurs.

However,

I noticed when i have the resource monitor up during "hangs"
on the overview tab.
under the disk field

the highest active time stat goes to 100%

This syncs up with the hangs
