OS Repair Due Accidental Partition Clean

Greetings,

I have Win 7 OS located on (C) and program files in other drives (D). Accidentally, i clean the Drive D partitions. This make some problem such: unable show thumbnail (even i have Media Player Classisc software) , snipping tools broke, unable to select installation path,.

I tried to repair OS "Repair Your Computer" in Advanced boot menu F8, but the startup repair could not detect a problem.
System restore is less likely a solution, because system restore is failed to restore my earliest restore point that close to partition clean accident.

My questions are: How to have normal win 7 due my conditions above?.

If i have to reinstall OS WIN 7, how to "save" all my OS updates (hence i do not have to redownload all updates)?

Is this partition recovery software related to data recovery? If yes, pardon me I didn't give complete information, because I already recovered some files using 3rd party software.

The main problem is related to registry such: no videos thumbnails are shown (although I reinstall Media Player Classic), snipping tools broke, unable to select installation path for some softwares.

If the parition is deleted and no changes its fairly simple to recover the parition and all the files would still be there if you have recovered files to the same drive you may have overwritten sectors needed for a recovery but its stil worth removing any recovered files to another drive and try parition recovery nothing to loose
