I assume you are going to run win 7 via bootcamp. If your hardware is capable of running win 7 (and it is) then it should be able to run OSX.

What exactly are your concerns?

Well I just keep seeing things like you need a certain disk image that's been tweeked but I just bought the $29 leopard upgrade disk, would that still work? It's the full image. And also if someone could point me to a good guide

Oh wait I think you have me mixed up. I have a pc and I want to run oxs, so I won't be needing bootcamp

You are asking the wrong person when it comes to mac "upgrade" disks..If win 7 is any indication Upgrade requires a previous OS.

You are probably not going to get a lot of support for the leopard installation, but you never know

Good Luck

You can run Bootcamp on a Mac, but not on a PC. You are basically trying to instal a Unix OS on a system not designed for it. Unfortunately, its impossible with your setup. Snow Leopard will only run with Hardware recognized by the Mac utilities. You could build a Mac Clone, but I doubt anything HP has is compatible. If you have not opened the disc, I would return it for refund. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, as I am a Mac specialist. (Sorry Guys) The relationship[ between Apple and Microsoft was one sided towards Apple, and with the proprietary issues, would not allow Microsoft any direct compatibility Software wise. Building a clone is another story though and can be quite an advanced procedure.
