is there any other data will suddenly exist in any folder inside the windows such as system32 or c:\windows if i download a files (music, .rar file, programs) trough downloader (IDM, firefox, chrome)? i just want to make sure an unwanted data will not eat my disk space. I've just got google that if we download any files, unwanted data will grow and grow inside the system32 or windows folder.

By default, downloads always go to the C:\Users\<user name>\Downloads unless you have changed it. Nothing is downloaded to \system32 unless you have told it do so.

so, it is only download to a specific folder?
but i've read that a small unwanted file will downloaded into system32 or c:\windows

No idea where that idea came from. It certainly isn't true. With UAC enabled (default condition) a browser couldn't write to the windows folder or any of it's subfolders if it wanted to.

how about with internet download manager? sometimes i download big file, .rar about 900MB. and my disk space lose about 1.1GB. that's why i tought if there is another data also downloaded. confused
