It must feel awful Kari, not being able to communicate very well. I know the feeling myself, when I have hypoglycemia due to diabetes, I can hear and understand everybody but I cannot get a word out of my mouth. I felt almost as if everyone thought I was temporarily 'disabled'. My best thoughts and wishes to you, I hope this ends happily

Thank you Dinish for the update. As awful as it sounds, there is at least hope that things may improve. It must be terrible to go thru an ordeal like that, especially at his relatively young age. I hope he will get better very soon and that my countrymen give him the best care available.

Thanks for that update Dinesh and as you say, it must have been a mighty task typing that lot.
Kari, I'll assume you'll read this at sometime. I can't begin to imagine the gamut of emotions from anger to grief that you must go through all day every day at the moment. Must be bloody hard.
So get better because you deserve it. We need to hang on to the good guys and you haven't had enough fun yet.

I'm heartened to hear Kari is at home, disheartened to hear he has such a
fight ahead of him. Hope the recovery will be much easier and faster than
he states. But Kari is, I believe, a fighter. Wish we could do more than
offer verbal support.

Thanks for the update Dinesh. I was hoping for better news. Kari, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I have a neighbor who is about 40 yrs old and he had a bad stroke a year ago. Still has trouble with his left arm and leg. He also has trouble getting the words out correctly but is making progress. He can't work and comes over every day and wife and I visit on the patio. Every time he comes over I also wonder how you are doing. Keep up the good fight.

Hello Kari I do not know you personally but have read numerous posts by you since I was a noob here (sometimes I think I still am). In my childhood I had to overcome physical disabilities learning to walk,ride a bike, even my speech was delayed but improved using the same will & determination you seem to have.

I along with other members who so eloquently stated await the triumphant return of their Official SevenForums "Reformed Newb Hugger"

Kari, I can only imagine how hard it must be to be unable to express yourself and do the things your mind is capable of. The fact that your mind is so sharp is a great advantage. It means your mental faculties are still there. The short term memory loss, while discouraging, is totally normal for someone in your position.

To see your email, which must have take patience and fortitude to compose is evidence of your willpower, and is exactly the type of effort that proves you will persevere and make your recovery necessary.

We're all pulling for you Kari, we want you to enjoy the company of your family and friends and know we will be able to see you posting here again. I wish you all the will and strength of mind you will need to accomplish your goals.

On the selfish side, we miss you, and want you back. Take care, hang in there, the 7F "family" is all rooting for you.
