Hi friends, got an SMS from Kari last night informing me about his recovery. He is now partially able to move his limbs. He also typed yesterday's text SMS by himself, though it took him 30 mins to type it. The therapist are looking after him and the physical trainer is teaching him how to move his hands and legs. He said thanks to all of you for your prayers.

Kari, I wish you all the success in your speedy recovery.

P.S.: Dennis (The Howling Wolves) asked me to ask Kari if we can help him financially but Kari said he is economically good and also has an extensive insurance coverage. Thanks Dennis for your initiative.

Kari is very much missed on the forums, and I too miss reading his posts, both the sensible ones when he is drunk and the nonsense ones when he is sober (or is that the other way round? ). Any how, keep doing what the doctors/physios and other health-care staff tell you to do. We're waiting for you to inject your unique take on life and get back to posting here ASAP (in your own time, don't rush things). Get well soon.

With diseases and injuries such as these, the recovery time is usually very significant. often months and years. My wife is an occupational therapist.

I do wish a fellow member the best and hope that he recovers and can lead a happy and fulfilling life.

I too feel there ias a huge gap in the forums.... I have just read through all 20 pages of this thread, and realised how bad this must be.
But Kari is recovering, slow it may be, but steadily and reliably
