When I right-click Send To -> Email Recipient, Outlook.exe*32 along with FIXMAPI.exe*32 launch (I can see them each as a Process in Task Manager) but no Outlook/email message window comes up, and the processes don't terminate (not by themselves anyway).

If I try it with Outlook running, then there is no problem. Also I get an error (MAPI error message) if I try to Send Email from Word while Outlook is closed. Again, if I try it with Outlook running, then there is no problem. Outlook is otherwise fine.

I’m running Windows 7 64-bit and Outlook 2007.

I have read in posts that this problem requires a registry edit. Someone please conform this and post how the registry should read!!
