Outlook 2003 e-mail - where do I find e-mail

I have been using Outlook 2003 for some time but only as a Contacts Manager. I would now like to use its e-mail facilities but don't know how to access the e-mail in Outlook 2003.

Where do I find the e-mail there please ?
