Outlook 2003 - Rule to Delete Spam

Am trying to permanently delete sender in my Junk Mail. Appears to be no "rule"
Assistance appreciated.

First: As long as the sender has your address in their lists you cannot prevent the sender from sending you email, you can only act on the mail and process it

Which Outlook are you using, the Client that is part of the Office suite or the Web Based Outlook.com? this will effect your options

Office 2003 outlook does support rules but only a limited set. What you need is to create a rule that applies to all mail and if the sender Is the known spam address then the mail should be marked read and moved to the spam bin or other folder, if you wish to check for any accidental actions).

You will need to create as many rules as you have spam mails from (sometimes just including the part of the address after the @ will allow you to re-direct a number of addresses with one rule

One other option is to run your eMail through Google's spam filters, which are very comprehensive and continually evolving.

Each time a user marks a sender as spam it is added to a list, to prevent accidental inclusion in the filters when this list reaches a certain size, the sender is then added to the filter lists

To do this you need to create a free gMail account and set this to collect your mail from other sources, and collect your mail from Gmail in Outlook Client.

This will run the unwanted mail through Gmail's filters and if not already included, (most are), you can mark it as spam manually in gmail and it will be treated automatically from then on
