Outlook 2003 Screen Resolution

When I try to run Outlook 2003 in Win 7 Pro, it changes the screen resolution to the lowest available. As soon as I get out of Outlook, the resolution returns to normal.

What is up? This problem began about two days ago. Prior to that it worked for about ten days after upgrading the computer to Win 7 Pro. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Office 2003 suite and have all updates in place including SP3.

Are you running Outlook in compatibility mode?

Usually when this happens, it is because a program is not compatible with the new visual effects of 7. Do any other Office products experience this at all? It seems odd that this would happen with 2003, when Office XP/2002 never showed this kind of problem with me, but I never used outlook.
