Outlook 2007 Block Sender

I keep repeating this daily routine to block sender / and I look at the block senders list /and all that I blocked is on the list however I keep getting fresh emails from those blocked senders.

And I block again ... and again. It's as though the lists exits and Outlook is ignoring what should be blocked?

Thus I block/ delete / purge daily the repeat offenders.

Follow these steps and check if it helps.

• Rename ‘Outfltr.dll’ file from the following location:
  • C:\ Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLFLTR.DLL
• Remove all the updates for the Junk-email filer from the control panel.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features
    • Check the option ‘Show installed updates’
    • Remove the updates for Junk-email filter.
• Now restart the computer and it will install all the updates for Outlook.
• Now check if this has resolved the issue.
