I have been running Office 2007 since loading getting my laptop with Windows 7 2.5 years ago with no problems. Just recently Outlook has stopped responding. Symptoms include:
1. Frequently won't launch, open task manager to see an Outlook.exe process is running though application is not open. End the process application will open.
2. Once open can only do 1 thing before the application freezes again.
3. Re-open task manager and the Outlook.exe process is running using 40K + in memory.
Have re-installed the application but this has not helped.
I have run Advanced System Care and Slim Cleaner along with full scans on Avast and Malwarebytes.
Have run the Office Diagnostics a few times and get no error message.
Because of how it fails to open or freezes just after opening I feel like a start up file is corrupted or something - but the re-install didn't help.
Any suggestions?
