Problem with Outlook.

POBLEM 1:
I can't send mail:-
sending to my yahoo account I get the following message, (with my email address changed)

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test send
Sent: 16/02/2010 10:33 PM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'my email address' on 16/02/2010 10:33 PM
Server error: '554 5.7.1 <myemail@yahoo>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied'

I tried sending to other email accounts including POP3 account and get the same thing.


PROBLEM 2:
When I first installed oultook and set up my account to add accounts to outlook it worked alright and downloaded all amil from those accounts into Outlook. Then I deleted the mail from all folders and since then nothing seems to work properly. I could not download new mail. I deleted accounts and tried to set it again but now I cannot even add any accounts.

New to windows 7, if that helps.

Anyway what can I do?

I have Windows 7, Outlook 2007 and got the same problem as your problem #1. I was able to solve this by doing the following:

Open up Outlook

Tools<Account Settings - Double click the email account you want to change

Click More Settings - In the outgoing server tab check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" box. Then tick the "log on using" button and add your user name and password. Then check the "remember password" box.
