Outlook 2010 Can receive emails but cannot send

I've been using Outlook 2010 for a couple of years with multiple Gmail accounts without any problems until today.

One of my Gmail accounts can receive emails but cannot send. When testing the account settings the attached error message appears.

Haven't made any changes to the account setting to date.

looks like quite a number of gmail users are facing this issue. Might need to wait for an answer from google.

I have four "gmail" accounts and I can send email from all but my default account! What gives, It used to work on my desktop and on my laptop, it still works. I have compared settings and they are identical. HHHEEELLLLPPPP!!!!

Solved the problem by making another address my default and deleting the one that was a problem. Then shut down outlook (did not reboot) opened outlook again and added the same email address again and allowed outlook to verify email. then shut down Outlook again and opened and then made the email address that would not send the default again. NOW IT SENDS PROPERLY , EVERY TIME.!!!!
