Hey all,

Office Professional Plus 2010 is really pretty great, and Outlook 2010 in general is great too. I've come across a problem, hopefully it'll be a minor problem compared to the other ones I've been having lol. As you all know I just had to do a reinstall...and I found a PST file in the Outlook Files folder in My Documents that had the name of the e-mail address "[email protected]", so I thought great, Outlook automatically created a PST file for me to backup, so I did back it up. After the reinstall...I opened Outlook, and then I imported the file. On the left side there were all the personal folders that were there before, along with all the e-mails :).

Then, I tried to add the gmail account through POP3, this is where the problems started. I added the account, all went well until I hit send/receive. It downloaded a couple of new e-mails, but put them in a separate inbox folder other than the one imported.

Is there a way to integrate the two inboxes?

Thanks for the help :)!

Theoretically you shouldn't have had to add a new email account if you've imported an old .PST file. If you open File, Info, Account Settings (Dropdown) Account settings you can remove the newly added POP3 account then if needed you can edit the imported 1 to your needs.

Well I imported the file and everything showed up but when I went into the settings it didn't show any e-mail account added so I added one.
