Outlook 2016 connecting hotmail problems

Hi,

I'm trying to set up Outlook 2016 with a hotmail.com account thats been fine working with Hotmail connector for previous versions of Outlook (2003, 2010)

Now I believe the Hotmail connector does not support Outlook 2016.

So that's fine I entered my details into Outlook for it to automatically setup for me. It uses Exchange ActiceSync?

My problem is while using the account like this it will ONLY sync my inbox, no other folders.

Ive tried entering IMAP settings for hotmail but once i click next to test account Outlook just crashes everytime, and won't open until the mail account i created is deleted via Control Panel>Mail.

I have tried POP3 and this works but i really don't want to use it.

Any suggestions?

While setup under Exchange ActiveSync, this is what I am looking at under File>Options>Advanced>Send/Receive>Edit Send/Receive.

Like it says, only Inbox is to be synced.
