outlook 207 , problem receiving emails

In the last 2 months , it has been unpossible to receiv emails with outlook 2007, Ihave been using outlook for the last 10 years without problems but lately it has been an orror and aaaaaanoying.
I have tryed to delete my account and add new one , have done all possible option ad different settings available in the net but not avail.
I can receive and send emails if I use the browser, by the way my account is an hotmail account.

Hope that some one can solve this problem for me it will be much appreciated. BTW I m using Win 7 professional
