Solved Outlook bad behaviour

Hi Folks. I've been getting more and more irritated by Outlook: it keeps freezing when I delete an email or move one to an archive forum. It also seems to be taking a long time to access archived emails. It would appear there is a commonality to these faults so I am hoping someone wise may able to give me some help here.
