Outlook issue - Window sized to 0x0 pixels when restored

I have an end user that is having an issue where Outlook 2010 disappears when the window is restored or when you try to drag it to a different position or monitor when it is maximized. What is actually happening is that the Outlook window is still on the screen, but it is sized at 0x0 pixels, so it isn't shown and you can’t click on it even if you know where it is. I have found a couple ways of changing the size of the restored window so that it is larger than 0x0 pixels, at which point you can resize it further. At best however, it seems to revert the next time Outlook is opened, but usually does it almost immediately.

I have tried running anti-malware scans as well as uninstalling and reinstalling MS Office, but the problem persists. I have also done some google searching to try to find a registry key that would hold the saved window size info, but I haven't found this yet either.

The computer is a laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit, and the Office version is Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Andrew

Thanks for the reply. My issue is different than what is described in the page that you linked. Outlook will Maximize and Minimize normally, but it you try to restore the window (make it any size smaller than Maximized), it will disappear completely.
