outlook.pst not valid

Hi Folks,
i' have an issue with ms outlook 2003 and the program not opening to run. It opens and indicates the pst file is not valid. Prob my own fault for loading new server 2008 lite. I have relaod my files from an earlier date but nothing. I have reloaded office but still have the problem. any ideas.

There are two ways to use Outlook.pst Data File:

1. Import it through Import and Export Wizard as provided inside Outlook Menu; and
2. Copy and replace the entire PST data directly into Data File Management resource.

Through which method you're trying to import the data? And what'd be the available physical size of the data?

   Warning

If size of PST data is excessive and larger than 4GB size then you'll have to assign few parameters inside the registry so that operating system won't allow PST data to be corrupted!
