Overclocking Intel i5 M430

I want to overclock my Intel i5 M430.

Ive read that is is possible, someone did it with exactly my notebook.

i have the MSI GX740 gaming notebook.

@2,26ghz its simply not really good at working together with the powerful graphics card.

I want it to be like 2,5 - 3ghz.

Ive downloaded setfsb and found my chipset. after clicking get fsb i get a slider wich is only effecting one of the two cores??? (it edits the "select" but not the "current".) or is it literarry the words, that select means what i am going to set it to? and current means what it is now?
also what does the second slider do?
and alot of other options below that sliders ^^

tell me please how to proceed.

It should be going to 2.53 GHz on its own via Turbo,

of course overclockong on laptops is possible, just not advised because of heat management. If you go into your BIOS and see that the temperatures are quite stable and cool, then just proceed as with a desktop by adjusting the multiplier until it wont boot then bump the voltage but not TOO MUCH after every voltage bump check temperatures

it stays very cool, no problem. i cant overclock my GPU since it has heat issueses but my CPU is really cool.

I have used setfsb_2_2_134_98 and CPU-Z application to overclock to 3,1Ghz. the processor is always on turbo, its by default enabled in the bios.
The only problem is that after a restart or suspend mode, the overclock is automaticly deactivated again.

How can i prevent this from happening?

in setfsb in the options there is an option to "apply on startup" or similar, tick it for the overclock to start on its own

I could not see any "apply at startup" or a button like it.
