Hi Guys, I have got a funny kind of problem that is baffling me totally.
I have a SSD for my OS so I decided to reduce my C drive page file to a minimum of 16MB - 16MB, and then rum a system manged pagefile on my mechanical drive. My problem is this, the pagefile size via the advanced setting shows 16MB.
And yet when I view my pagefile.sys in my C drive it still remains at 8GB
Confirmed with winDirStat
I have tried the usual rebooting etc but the pagefile will not change size and is eating a whopping 8GB of SSD space. My only thoughts are maybe I have some sort of software installed that dictates the pagefile size, is that possible ?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated because this is really getting me frustrated to the point of madness.
