Already saw this. Had a similar discussion on another forum. Our eventual conclusion is that:

We are not suppose to understand the understanding of not understand the paradoxes and effect of time travel.

If the universe – a universe – can be destroyed by the successful activation of a particle accelerator such as the Large Hadron Collider, the only universes that survive will be the ones in which a series of freak accidents prevent the collider from working. And that is why we are still here to puzzle over the repeated failure of the LHC. Our cousins next door have not been so lucky.

I just hope our universe is the one that's gonna keep standing.

Wait... What if all the universes eventually collapse? Would there be nothing at all anywhere? Or can that not happen because a new alternate version of the universe would reappear each time to conserve the option that the universe survives? So basically, we can keep screwing up because there's always gonna be somewhere else we survive! Let's trash the planet and start a nuclear war!!!
