Partially black screen when I switch between browser windows

I use two browsers simultaneously. When I switch from Firefox window to chrome window, the top half comes black. It doesn't go until I hover my cursor over the black area. I find it weird, it keeps happening every 2 minutes.

AMD A8 Quad Core
HDD 1 TB
RAM 8GB
2GB ATI Radeon Graphic Card
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Welcome to Seven Forums Gv Sparx. Try disabling Hardware Acceleration in Chrome. I suspect the black screen issue is when switching TO Chrome, correct? Here is the method

"GPU composting in all pages" cannot be changed

The first thing that you asked to change cannot be changed, I'll change the rest and then see what happens!

None of the GPU options can be changed

Hmmm, I don't use Chrome, but you should be able to enable/disable any setting. Regardless of the effect that may have! What exactly happens, the choice is grayed out?

Ya the choice is grayed out.

I changed the chrome theme to default theme. Let us see how it pans out from here.
