partion wont delete

hi as title have used partion manager pro but it wont let me delete old partion any help would be greatful.

am useing win 7 x64

Can you be more specific.

Which partition are you trying to delete?

Please post a screenshot.

Do you mean Paragon partition manager pro?

If it 's not letting you delete something - there will be a good reason.

Are you trying to delete your First partition - with Vista on it perhaps?

If so that will probably be the System partition - if you delete that , you won't be able to boot.

hi sorry i carnt delete partition d it contains win 7 32bit just need to get rid so i can put downloaded file on there.

OK, when SIW asked for more information, a one liner is not going to cut it.

There are literally millions of different combination of partitions I can make on a simple 10 MB (yes Megabyte, not Gigabyte) disk - so expanding that by a factor of 1000 to a 10 GB disk you get combination numbering well into the *billions*.

Therefor, we need a *lot* more information other than just "you cannot delete the partition."

1. We need to know how many partitions you have, and what OS is on each partition, etc.
2. We need to know what error message you are getting when trying to perform this deletion.
3. We need to know (and seeing a picture would be much better) exactly what the structure is of your partitions.

However, from taking a pure and total guess here, I am guessing that you are trying to delete the system partition that contains the Windows 7 boot information - and if you do that you'll prevent your computer from booting.

Now, again, please tell us exactly what you're trying to do, and why, and keep in mind the 3 points I made above.
