I had fedora12 dual booted on my laptop, I needed to erase the partition and re install Linux, so I deleted the partition data, but when I tried to delete the partition itself. An error popped up saying it cannot be deleted not enough memory. How come I can't delete this partition.

Where are you trying to delete this partition from? Windows disk management or an install disc?

You should be able to just right click on the partition and choose delete, not sure if you are doing this from a Windows XP or 7 machine, but it will be the same regardless. Once the partition is deleted you will have a large unallocated space, where you can create a new partition and install your operating system, from the install disc.

Windows7 home premium 64 bit. But yeah I already erased the data in the partition. But when I try to delete the actual partition. It says it can't be deleted not enough memory.
