What it is, I have this 100mb partition left over from when my OEM OS was on the drive. I installed a retail version of 7, and now the partition wont budge. Any body any ideas on hoe to get rid of that 100mb partition.

If you get rid of it you won be able to boot as it is the system partition, I wouldn't worry about the 100mb as it's only 0.025% of your total capacity and wont affect system performance.

One option that you might have missed when you installed the retail version of windows 7 is the one where you can delete all existing partitions.

Because that partition is most likely the first one on your hard disk, My recommendation is to do a complete install and then delete all the partitions.

but then what is 100 megs. and most cases it is hidden so it should not bother you too much.
