Hey guys,

I have Windows 7 installed and it's taking up the entire hard drive, is there anyway I can make it so part of it will be used for windows xp without reformatting? You can do this on macs I believe.

You would achieve this by shrinking your drive and then installing XP to the space made, but as you haven't given us any details about your machine we don't know just what you have.

If you could post back with details about your machine like the make and model and how big is the hard drive etc: there will be someone who can give you all the details.

Have you had a look through the tutorial section as I'm sure you would find everything you would want to know there, have a look around there while you wait for someone to help you, after you've posted all the information for us.

Where can I find disk management?

Right click on My Computer and choose Manage.

Under Storage, click Disk Management. Then take a screen shot and post back.

So you plan on installing Windows XP yourself?
