Password

when i turn on laptop it ask's for no password. Ever. But if i shut my screen or it screensave's it wants a password to log back in. I have no clue what the password is either im running a dell inspiron n 5010 windows 7 there is like 300 gigs .

I created another user without passwords so i dont get locked out. can i just delete the user now with the password and use the new user i made and will it be fine?

I have no idea what the password is to remove it. I would like to reset this back to factory settings and i checked for a repair computer couldnt find anything like that. PLEASE Help me. I bought this from a person's estate that passed away.

Try this

To disable password protection for the Windows 7 screensaver, simply uncheck the "On resume, display logon screen" checkbox. Then, click "OK" to apply your new settings.

well i found that the other day and unchecked it but it still wants a password if i shut the screen it wont ask for one now when it goes to sleep

Can you login to another admin account and remove the password of the other user ( your account )

Why would you want to do that ? That will place all the bloatware that came with your PC the day you bought it . People here recommend a clean installation . Take a look at the link below
