Solved Passwords keep disappearing

Lately my log in and passwords on everything will not stay saved, even though I check the box. The only thing that was done to my computer lately is that Uverse worked on a problem and took control while they worked. I know she cleaned out the cache and the history. I don't think that would keep it from saving them now.

HELP

As a test, please...
...reset IE
...log into any website
(telling it to save your credentials)
...close IE
...restart your computer
...check that website to see if you are still logged in.

If you are still logged in, then the issue is probably with Firefox and not some system wide security app. If the problem is with Firefox, I'll need to let other forum members help you.

What antivirus app are you using?
Are you using other security apps too? (Malwarebytes....)

For anyone who might come across this in the future, Firefox and IE can both be set to clear out saved passwords in the settings. In IE, you would need to uncheck delete browsing history on exit in internet options.

In firefox, its in the settings there as well. Take a look around. I don't have access to firefox at the moment.
