I've only tried running batman arkham origins, but my pc constantly keeps crashing or automatically turning itself off on the main menu and not even during gameplay. here are my system specs
OS window 7 64bit home premium
CPU Intel i7 920 2.67hhz put to default overclock to 3.2ghz
PSU 1000watts +
Ram: Dominator GT 12gb 2133mhz
GPU: GTX 780ti

Okay so today I've installed my new graphic card GTX 780ti, and put in the new ram, and loaded up the default overclock to 3.2ghz on my bios. First thing that came in my mind was that my cpu was bottle necking my gpu, or maybe my temperature? I just finish doing everything recently and everything seems to be a mess, my resolution is messed up (made a thread about that).

It sounds like a thermal problem. Do the following:

1. See if your system is stable without the overclock - set the BIOS back to defaults

2. If the system still reboots after the BIOS has been set to defaults, then do this:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/220743-cpu-stress-test-using-intelburntest.html

Everything was running fine before i overclocked and put in the new ram, ill try to put it back to default... idle temperature is 45-50C on my cpu, ill run a stress test, the liquid cooling i have on my pc is 5 years old.

Hold on, you need to do one thing at a time because both the overclock and new RAM could be the issue. Do it in this order:

1. Set BIOS to default -- check for stability. If its stable leave it alone
2. If it isn't stable, test your RAM using this:

Do one thing at a time.

Okay, so i set everything back to default back to 2.67ghz and put back my old ram, and when i ran batman arkham origin it immedietely crashed again, i ran the stability test on standard, high, and very high, all test resulted in stable, i've tried to play another game and it's running absolutely fine, i'm starting to think this problem is only existing with arkham origin, I've set the setting on high and dx 11 enhanced, but the thing is my pc completely crashes and turns off at the menu, it doesn't give me a chance to run the game at all, any suggestion? ill try to play other games and post and update, thanks for the help golden

i think i was running them at 1333mhz, but when i used my other ram at 2133mhz it also crashed immediately exactly the same way it crashed with the 1333mhz

A i7-920 specs are 800/1066 for ram.
Most could get 1333 out of good ram with proper voltage.
I don't think you will ever get 2133 speed to work with that cpu.
Is your ram volts set to specs?

I'm gonna buy new hardware for my computer hopefully this will solve the problem, i'm gonna buy a new motherboard and a new processor which is
a intel i7 4930k processor and a asus p9X79 LGA 2011, with my 12gb 2133mhz ram, hopefully the 780ti's will be able to run, and hopefully it isnt a psu u problem which i doubt it is because i was running two graphic cards with my psu, two ATI radeon 5970's, ill probably buy a new liquid cooling, but isnt this a good upgrade or do you guys recommend something else?
