Hi,
Recently, I built my own PC (specs below). It booted up fine and I installed all the necessary drivers. Then I installed my games getting excited for some decent fps. I began to play Need for Speed : Most Wanted 2012 but not even 2 minutes into the game, it froze, completely. I hit reset, and tried again... same thing, no BSoD, just a full-on freeze, cant move mouse, anything. At first i thought it was overheating, Speccy seems to disagree. CPU is 24C idle and 40C after 1 hour of Prime95, GPU is at 35C idle and at max 52C after 30mins of MSI Kombustor.
I also found this strange... I could run Prime95 and MSI Kombuster perfectly fine but i cant play a game that literally takes half the resources 0_o
I also took out the 8800GTS (used for PhysX) for the sake of the Power Supply but to no avail.
As temps aren't a problem I'm a bit confused on what's going on. Any Ideas?
