Try Crysis with the highest settings possible.

Also...

GTA IV
ARMA II
Gods of War III
Fallout 3
Metro 2033
Supreme Commander 2
Command and Conquer 4
Just Cause 2

In other words, most of the newer games require rediculous hardware if you set them on very high settings. Many of them have a high variability so that lower end users can play them too. I'd say Crysis is probably the worst of them all but it's a few years old now.

If you're looking to benchmark your system when it comes to video games you can just use 3DMark Vantage.

As far as your system goes, you should be using your GTS 250 as your main graphics card and your onboard graphics as a dedicated physics processor if possible. If you're looking to upgrade, you should look at the following depending on price range.

GTX 260 (896MB, 448-BIT GDDR3) - $200
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127464&cm_re=GTX_260-_-14-127-464-_-Product

GTX 470 (1280MB, 320-BIT GDDR5) - $350
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133318

GTX 480 (1536MB, 384-BIT GDDR5) - $500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125319

Your current card has 512MB and 256-BIT GDDR3.

You're system is fine....

Crysis is kind of lame in my opinion. Its a good shooter, but fighting aliens just isn't my thing. The floating through water level was one of the stupidest levels of any game I have ever played. GTA IV is my favorite by far. Try that and the new Episodes from Liberty City that was released recently. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a good game as well. Fallout 3 was good too.

FYI: God of War III is a playstation 3 game.

No... if you lower the graphic settings, you might get ~20fps or ~30fps...
It can play Crysis, but not at butter smooth 60+fps...

By high, do you mean maxed out? In a word - no.

You will have to dial down settings in a lot of those games to achieve a playable framerate.

But your high OC and lower resolution will help. Unless you plan to game on that 40" TV and it's 1920x1080

With that GTS 250 you'll struggle to max anything like Crysis, but you should be able to play at reasonable enough res and settings to be pleasing...

I recommend Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, because CoD4 was a great game, and the sequal wasn't too bad.
Add to that Crysis and/or Crysis Warhead, as they are rather satisfying games (what could be more entertaining than cloaking, leaping out of the bushes and grabbing a Korean or alien around the throat with one hand and using them as a meat shield whilst you take care of everything else with your equipped weapon?? :sa: ... )
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is supposed to be really good, I'm yet to aquire it, but it has some great reviews.
Also, Borderlands. Because it is also thoroughly entertaining, and filled with commedy.

Here are some games I love to play, most are older than 2008, so you'll most likely have to use compatibility mode, some you won't.

OMF:2097: This game is quite old, made in 1997 or so, you'll need DOSBox to make this run, and DOSBox will run fine on Windows 7. This game you basically play as 60+foot tall robot, and fight other robots. It's 2D like the old Duke Nukem games.

Oblivion: Came out in 2006, not sure if this one works on W7 or not. I don't have the game anymore, so I wouldn't know, but it's a lot like Fallout 3, except I think it's better than Fallout 3. It's also like Gothic 3.

Warhammer 40k, Dawn of War: Another old, awesome game that came out about 2004 or so. It has very good graphics for a game it's age. Not sure if this one works for W7, haven't been able to test it yet.

Diablo 2: Another oldie, but a good game. Haven't played it recently, myself.

Battlefield 2: One of my favorites. This game is pretty fun online, especially if you have mods installed on it. Works fine on Windows 7 for me.

Homeworld 2: This one came out in about 2003, it's an RTS space fighting game where you build spaceships and what not. It's all space fighting, no "ground battles".

Star Wars: Empire At War, and it's expansion Forces of Corruption: This is another favorite of mine. It was released in 2006 or so, and has a crapload of mods out for it. You can build armies of ground troops, or space ships, and play either ground battles or space battles.

Unreal Tournament 2004: One of my favorites. If you've ever played the original Unreal Tournament back in 1999 or so, this one's very similar, except it has better graphics and what not.

18 Wheels of Steel Haulin': If you're into "truck driving" games where you drive a diesel trucks and deliver trailer loads (and get paid for it), this one's for you. There are several games to this series. Use Google if you want more info.

Freight Tycoon: This one's similar to Monopoly Tycoon, except you own your own company, and you buy trucks/trailers to have these trucks deliver stuff for you, except you're not driving the trucks. You just assign them "contracts" that make you money if you deliver the goods on time. No idea if this works for Windows 7 yet.

Morrowind: Same as Oblivion, except it's older, and doesn't have great graphics as Oblivion does, but it's fun anyway. No idea if this works with Windows 7.

That's all I can think of right now.

next games on my list are
Dark Void. (looks great and uses PhysX)
FarCry2

GTA IV is great and should run well. I had Crysis Demo for test and it ran great at med-high settings. FarCry is great too, but I want to get FarCry2 because I know the GFX are gonna be way better.

Consider All Source Games (Portal is now free until May 24th! )
Dragon Age: Origins
Fallout 3
Arma II (Most realistic shooter/military sim ever created)
Stalker Series (Incredibly immersion and story!)
Microsoft Flight Simulator X + Acceleration Pack
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
quakelive.com (Quake 3, for free, basically redone/mastered)
Dirt 2
Live for Speed S2 Apha (Most realistic racing sim ever, better than iRacing IMO)
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (For a different, and IMO better online experience)
GTAIV (Can't beat the fun or graphics, recommend fast quad core and 1GB Vram)
Classic - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (Free to play online FPS, one of the best ever)
