PC incurred physical damage now showing nvidia kernel mode error

Hello

Last night the power went out and I tripped over something and hit my desk causing The GPU my PC to unseat itself. This morning when I booted it up. My computer is unusable because I get the Nvidia kernel error. I tried everything I could think of but to no avail. Will physical damage cause such a problem?

4 gig ram
Asrock z68 mobo
600w gold rated psu

Do you know that the GPU unseated itself because you inspected something with your own eyes? Or for some other reason?

You say you "tried everything I could think of". Name as many of those things as you can recall.

Filling out your system specifications might help.

I saw the dislodged gpu through the case window.

I tried reinstalling different versions of nvidia drivers. I tried the maximizing performance in control panel. I tried the tdrdelay registry value. I tried other monitors and inboard gpu to make sure it wasn't another issue

But you didn't try to "un-dislodge" the GPU?

I hit the computer case so hard that the graphics card fell out of the PCI-E slot. I put the GPU back in the next morning and immediately the driver errors occurred.

I do not have a spare GPU other than onboard graphics to diagnose this issue.
