PC keeps freezing whilst gaming

My computer keeps freezing whilst gaming, I have all the latest drivers, ran CCleaner and tried to clean up the registry, ran numerous virus scans with malwarebytes, tdss killer, spybot and more. I've also tried defragging my HDD but after all that, I still have this annoying probelm BTW, my GPU isn't overheating, it never goes above 60 on full load. Thanks

i would check if the PSU is having issues distributing the load ?

Can't say for sure, but it might be your RAM. Freezing is often a memory related issue and your Mobo only supports 1333/1066 and you've got 1600 sticks installed on it according to your specs.

If that is the case 16gb of 1333 DDR3 memory is pretty cheap, so it's not a huge deal to replace it if need be. Even if it's not, you should probably replace your RAM anyway because what you have is not officially supported by your board.

@Contrabarus Sorry I listed the wrong RAM in my System Specs, I have Crucial 8gb ballistic sport at 1333mhz.

I've tried updating to the latest 13.12 drivers but that didn't help

Check if your PSU fan is spinning under load and also you can check with a voltage meter to see if the current is correct going to the board and hardware

My system kept shutting down out of no where no bsods or anything nothing over heated it even froze a time or two before the shut downs turns out my PSU fan stop cooling it and it just kept killing my system

By the way it was a AX850 and i replaced it with a HX1050
