That PSU sounds like the culprit. Apart that COOLPOWER is not a good brand, a good 850W PSU should cost around 100 bucks while that is sold at 50.

Also, you don't need 850W. your rig needs at most 450W, as this calculator says.

I am sorry AaLF, but I have to agree: the PSU you have is very likely the culrpit. The specific unit you have is a very low-quality unit and the kind of power that it delivers is very dirty, noisy, and unstable. A PSU like this one can easily cause worse problems than this and they usually do as time goes on.

Those specs have changed. Just updated specs page. This is good news if its the PSU. I've been terrified its the CPU.

i ran the calculator with the specs you posted in the first post. And yes, even by eyeballing I can say that you won't really need more than 450. My rig is slightly better than yours and I do fine with a (trashy) 450W PSU.
