Solved PC name won't change fully: MARJOLIEN/danique

Hey,

I recently bought this pc second handed, its still good as new with waranty.
But i have a ''problem'' i changed the pc name to my own but still the name of the old owner pops up everywhere and all the personal files are still named after her.

for example: when i download dropbox it wil file under users\danique\downloads\dropbox

I dont believe its a problem, but i would like for it to go away because i dont know and am not danique.. i have no idea what to do.

i changed the PC name and the administrator name.
Still it says MARJOLIEN/danique (the danique part is the problem)

Hi,

Are you logging-in under the user account danique? Please post a list of all the user accounts on this computer? Which accounts are administrator accounts?

No there was no danique anywhere anymore.. only in the useracounts..
I changed all the changeble..

But i got it solved.

What i did:
make and extra user acount. change the administrator rights to the new user acount and delete the old acount.

Thats good - yes, you just needed to remove the other accounts
